Invitation to the 40th Conference on Medium Term Economic Assessment September 23-24, 2010, Luxembourg
After the financial cataclysm, questions abound: Are there lessons learned from the crisis? How did the financial turmoil impact sectors of the real economy? Do reform and exit strategies succeed? Are there renewed prospects for growth, employment and productivity?
The 2010 CMTEA aims at attracting officials and academics involved in policy making as well as staff of international organizations to discuss these and other questions. Confirmed keynote speakers are Massimiliano Marcellino from European University Institute (Florence, Italy), Xavier Timbeau from OFCE (Paris, France) and Ad van Riet (European Central Bank).
